Seriously, try as I might, I can&#8217;t come up with a single line of reasoning to back this up.  It&#8217;s completely inexplicable.  Why, if you&#8217;re going to spend $50,000 on a brand spanking new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chevrolet.com\/corvette\/\" title=\"Build your own yellow monstrosity!\" target=\"_blank\">Corvette<\/a>, would you want it to look like a motherfucking <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foraride.com\/\" title=\"yellow cab\" target=\"_blank\">taxi<\/a>?  Why?  The president of one of the companies I worked for back in the late 90s had a yellow <a href=\"http:\/\/dodgeviper.com\/viper\/index.html?context=homepage&#038;type=vehicle_nav\" title=\"starting at $81,890 MSRP!\" target=\"_blank\">Dodge Viper<\/a>.  It was hideous, but visible.  Maybe that&#8217;s the point, but if so, it&#8217;s a dumb one &#8211; sure, people are more likely to notice you if your low-slung souped-up super-coupe is fluorescent in color, but then again, people are also a lot more likely to notice that you&#8217;re a complete fucking retard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why do people insist on buying canary yellow sportscars?
