Why, we&#8217;re going to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.selfpublishers.org\/\" title=\"SPEC Chicago\" target=\"_blank\">SPEC<\/a>\/<a href=\"http:\/\/www.gapersblock.com\/\" title=\"Gapers' Block\" target=\"_blank\">Gaper&#8217;s Block<\/a> Reading at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.unclefunchicago.com\/\" title=\"Uncle Fun\" target=\"_blank\">Uncle Fun<\/a>, of course!  That&#8217;s right, several local bloggers (including yours truly) will be reading bits and pieces of our work &#8211; and you can drink while we do!  And if I&#8217;m not enough of a draw for you (in which case I will cry), you&#8217;ve gotta love <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sourbob.com\" title=\"sour bob\" target=\"_blank\">Sour Bob<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/smartypants.diaryland.com\" title=\"smartypants\" target=\"_blank\">Mimi Smartypants<\/a>.  Not to mention the ever-lovely <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lay-c.com\" title=\"lay-c\" target=\"_blank\">Lacey<\/a> and&#8230; well, for a longer list of who&#8217;s reading, and all those other pesky details that I&#8217;m too lazy to type up here, see the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gapersblock.com\/slowdown\/archives\/2004_02_21.php#002842\" title=\"Gapers Block\" target=\"_blank\">Gapers&#8217; Block posting<\/a> on the event.<\/p>\n<p>On a completely different note, this is the first conversation I had this morning, with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nocommercialpotential.net\" title=\"bitterness is its own reward\" target=\"_blank\">Phineas<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>P: There you are.<\/p>\n<p>L: where?<\/p>\n<p>P: Right there.
