No really, I am a superhero.

In 1999, after a couple of years fiddling with that blogging thing on various other people's domains, I thought I had enough things to say to merit my very own corner of this here interweb. In 2007, I suddenly ran out of ammo. Thankfully, that didn't last forever... So, I'm back. Still not dead yet. Like a phoenix from the ashes. Behold.

:: Everything Old is Young Again ::

Feeling old? Think it's unfair that people start looking at you like you're a senior citizen when you're only 48? It's time to move to Turkmenistan, where President Saparmurat Niyazov has recently postponed the onset of old age to 85. Never mind that the average life expectancy in his country is only 61 and 65 for men and women respectively.

What I want to know is, what does this do to the drinking age?

Thanks to Jeff (whose site will be back up soon, we promise) for the link.

It's probably got something to do with keeping all the old people from retiring and not working anymore. Gotta keep those oldies in the sweatshops, making ... uh, whatever it is they make over there. Yeah.

Nice picture of the Prez'dent on that page, too. He's got some James Traficant hair there!

Actually, the more I think about it, this makes a lot of sense when you consider the emotional development of the average male...

This is also the guy that renamed January after himself, right? He sounds like a fun leader! Maybe next he'll make summer all year long!
